Zac Efron is awe-struck by the crowd of fans as he does a Q&A session at the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota on Monday afternoon (July 19).

According to the Star Tribune, a record 7,000 people showed up to spy the 22-year-old actor and hopefully get some good pics.
Zac was actually late to the signing! But for good reason. Per a KDWB staffer, Zac was hungry and stopped for a hot dog.

I saw a video of it and it looks like he truly was amazed at the people who showed up as well as it looked like it was REALLY enjoying himself there. Good for him.

i can tell you that as a mother of 3 kids, the last thing i would be gunning for my kids to do at age 21 is get married! even if they were in a committed relationship i wouldn’t be rushing them to get married. there is a certain expectation of settling down that comes with getting married. i have the feeling that zac and vanessa come from that traditional sensibility and both know that where they are in their careers does not provide them with that luxury. i look at julia roberts who rushed into a couple of marriages which failed. you look at her now and even though she still has a very active career, she was clearly ready to settle down. you need to be at the right place in your life. age or how long you’ve been in a relationship with someone has nothing to do with it.

@sheila: I agree. I don’t care if they have been together for years, their both only 21 and 22 years old. Thats too young. For some people, yes it might work but I don’t think Z or V are ready for that at this point in their lives.
wonder if this was Zac’s first time at the Mall of the Americas? I remember that Vanessa was there a couple of years ago. They can compare notes !!

Yep totally there yesterday, not even kidding. Me and my friend got up at 4:30 am to go get in line by the time the mall opened at 6 and still there was a lot of people ahead of us. After we got our wristbands to get in the little gated off yesterday we had to basically camp out in it for like 5 hours (its called the Best Buy Rotunda). It was actually super fun though. I like really didnt expect to be as excited as I was when I saw him but when he got on stage me and my friend were like crying. Hes such a babe and even more gorgeous in person then he is in pictures. He was so sweet and kept signing autographs even after his people total him to stop. I wasnt one of the people that got an autograph wristband but I ended up being able to anyway! I GOT A HUG! He smells AMAZING and has amazing strong arms! WONDERFUL experience! I <3 Zac!
