The 20-year-old “Battlefield” beauty joins the cast this August as Nina Rosario, just two days after Corbin Bleu departs from the Broadway cast.
Jordin shared, “It’s always been one of my dreams to perform on Broadway. This is a brand new experience for me. I look so forward to spending time in New York City and joining this talented cast and my favorite new musical.
Jordin will play a limited 12 week engagement as Nina, starting on August 19th through Sunday, November 14, 2010.

I love Jordin Sparks and I know with her vocals she will be terrific as Nina Rosario on Broadway “The Heights”! I had the pleasure of going to Jordin Sparks “Battlefield” tour in San Francisco and she was so true sounding her vocals are beautiful! Also, love her new duet with Guy Sebastian “Art of Love” which I have purchased on iTunes…..Love, Jordin Sparks you go girl!
there are Latina singers that can do these roles…they may not have had a chance on TV/ Idol but they are independent musicians that are amazing singers….
i love her!!!!!
