The Fairly Oddparents Movie is coming– and it’s called A Fairly Odd Movie: Grow Up, Timmy Turner!
Thanks to TVGuide, we now know just a bit more about the made-for-TV movie which stars Drake Bell and Daniella Monet.
The animated series focused on 10-year-old Timmy’s refusal to grow up, so he could keep his fairy godparents so in the movie, an older Timmy (Bell) is still in the fifth grade and living at home.
Now it’s all changing when he begins to have feelings for Tootie (Monet), a nerdy girl who has grown into a beautiful woman and returned to town. Now Timmy must make a choice between his godparents or growing up and being in love.
Steven Weber also stars as a larger-than-life oil tycoon, who turns his attention to capturing Timmy’s fairies and using their power to fuel his maniacal ambition. The movie is set to debut on Nickelodeon in 2011.

I love Fairly Odd Parents. And Drake Bell. But this seems utterly riduculous. :|

This is officially amazing! I must admit, I wasn’t expecting for this to be good. Now, I am impressed. They truly did an amazing job casting this movie and made it have an amazing storyline. Can’t wait to see how this all turns out.

Daniella Monet as Tootie? I think we just learned who the mother of grown-up Timmy’s kids from “Channel Chasers” are going to be. Now I’m wondering who’s going to play Trixie Tang, and Vicky.
I know that they’re saying Tootie has grown intoa a beautiful young woman, but since Daniella Monet plays her, she’s too beautiful.

I used to love fairly odd parents, i think Drakes too pretty to play Timmy though.

But what about Timmy’s giant teeth? That’s a major characteristic that made the show funny.
This is probably the most difficult movie to cast, direct, and produce. I wish them luck. Would be really cool if they get it right.
this has to be the funniwst thing even i nere even thought somine would make a live actionn movie of this but im kinda want to see it but ill proably be in collee when it comes out

@Andie you took the words right out of my mouth. There is absolutley no logical reason to make this a movie with real people. Its going to ruin the cartoon completely. its time for people to get creative and create new movies instead of using other peoples ideas and potentially ruining an already good thing. Im not happy about this @ all.

This is good news for me since I’m a fan of Tootie! I’ve always thought she’d grow up to be pretty, and now she’s gonna get the guy that she always liked. ^^
