OlderDoc Shaw Says Bon Voyage to the Suite Life
Doc Shaw lifts Brenda Song up in his arms with ease in this new still from the upcoming episode of The Suite Life on Deck.
In the upcoming episode “Bon Voyage,” Marcus (Shaw) leaves the ship after deciding to film a musical based on his hit song “Retainer Baby.”
In reality, Doc went off to film a new Disney XD series with Mitchel Musso called Pair of Kings — coming to the channel this fall!
“Bon Voyage” premieres Friday, August 20 @ 8PM ET/PT on Disney Channel.

i think its awesome hes been filming a new show. but he was absoutely great on suite life on deck!
I liked Doc on the show. Brought new life.
But I gotta say the show is ending. It’s obvious they are running out of material. Time to see the twins do something else.

I never got the reason for his charater and don’t understand why they are getting rid of him. I don’t understand why they broke up bailey and cody also. This show makes no sence at all.
I Really loved Doc on SLOD, but there more new people on deck like Maya zacks new GF. and the Breakup between Bailey and Cody is intersting lets see if there goin to be togeather on not, and there goin to be soo many cool guest stars like @SEANKINGSTON :D :D SLOD IS THE BEST SHOW EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <3 HOPE THERES A SEASON 4 BUT DYL AND COLE ARE GOIN TO NYU COLLAGE ;(
his name was on the song as a main character but he was barely in some episodes ive been wondering what happened to hime would should just be a main character hes in like every episode

That’s terrible that Doc is leaving Suite Life on Deck.I mean, he’s only been in a few episodes of it.I guess he didn’t like it.
I liked him more than Woody, at least he could act all right. Oh well, I like Mitchell Musso also, so I hope there new show is a hit.

@2bedatcool: No the show isn’t almost over. They still haven’t finished filming the third season.
@none: They aren’t getting rid of Marcus, he was a supporting character. Doc Shaw left this show to film another Disney show, his own Disney show.
It’s natural for someone to pass a supporting character role for a starring lead role.
@lana: How can they run out of stories? They live in the middle of the ocean, there are lots of story lines they haven’t explored yet. They can travel to any country in the world in any episode and go to any island in the world. What do the twins have to do with this? The twins are doing lots of things while SLOD. It’s their lives.
@Annie ryan: Debby said Dylan and Cole going to college won’t affect the show. Because the show stars an ensemble cast.
Im glad hes gone, i never liked him, hopefully the show gets better by his his absence.

@lana I can name a bunch of stories the show hasn’t done yet, for example, going to the great pyramids in egypt, ship being damaged or something, cody and bailey getting back together, the story with zack and maya, all the upcoming ones on wikipedia, etc. , and then when the show is coming to an end, it will have even more stories like, finding out what college they are going to along with whatever they have planned for cody and bailey, them visiting boston, then the ending episode, those are just what I came up with off the top of my head! I think they have a couple seasons left…
THEY SAID MARCUS ONLY MAKING 1 SEASON OF PAIRS OF KINGS AND THEN HE IS BACK TO TELL MOSEBY SORRY AND DEBBY SAID SUITE OF LIFE ON DECK IS ENDING AT SEASON 5 SO DEBBY SAY THAT MARCUS COMES BACK IN SEASON 4 THEN DEBBY HAS TO LEAVE TO KETTLECORN BECAUSE SHE TOLD MOSEBY THAT MARCUS DID NOT DO THE ACCIDENT THAT SHE DID IT TO GET RID OF CODY BUT IN SEASON 5 BAILEY IS BACK AND TELL CODY THAT SHE MISS HIM AND THEN THEY GO BACK AND THEY MAKING A SHOW CALLED SUITE OF LIFE ON L.A LIKE JONAS L.A BUT THEY GO TO COLLEGE AND GET MARRIED CODY AND BAILEY BUT DEBBY SAID THAT THE SHOW MAY CALLED SUITE OF LIFE ON DECK FOREVER AFTER
I kind of figured that Doc Shaw would be leaving. But the new show with Mitchell Musso should be good for him. I enjoy Disney XD so we’ll see how well this panders out.
I am sure that the writers for the show have more to work with. Next episode after Bon Voyage features a visit from Brian Stepanik, and that promises to be amusing.
Anyway just my opinion :D
ok i loved marcus. he was on the the show like not even a season!!! im really sad. he was a really good actor and i wish he could do both but he cant i think he did a really good job during his short time with the suite life. and my best wishes go out to him while he is doing his other show.
