OlderKendall Jenner: It Was a Beach Shoot, I Was Wearing Beachwear
Kendall Jenner shows off her glowing brunette locks in this new modeling shot wearing a Gabby Applegate skirt.
After getting some heat for her latest beach photo shoot, the 14-year-old model opened up to People to clear the air about her new modeling career. Kendall shared, “I am excited to be working as a model, doing what I love to do. My entire family was very supportive, though my dad [Bruce Jenner] was a bit concerned at first, he knows that I am responsible enough that I wouldn’t do anything I wasn’t ready to do, or didn’t want to do.”
She continued, “Going into this shoot, it was never my intention to be provocative or too racy. It was a beach shoot, and I was wearing beachwear. I am happy with my age, and am not trying to rush into anything too soon. I look forward to all the milestones my teens have to offer–Sweet 16, turning 18, and so on.”

seriously like what has this world come to?! 14 yr old girls cant wear bikinis?! 17 years old girls cant wear short shorts?! if shes to skimpy shes a sluut if she doesnt show skin her career can be in danger! like wat does this world want?! this is no big deal just cuz they are on the spot light her career is bearly starting and ppl are already trying to put her down!! ugghh so annoying!
Hopefully she learns that if it ain’t white, it ain’t right!
Unfortunately, her half-sisters didn’t learn that lesson.
when I first saw the pictures, I too thought it was a bit to racy for a 14 year old. But I’m glad she adressed the issue in a really mature way like this.
IMO its fine if she wants to pose in bikinis. No one is saying she can’t wear a bikini. But the thing that made it a little “racy” for me was the fact that they made her basically covered up in sand and lie in suggestive positions.
Would it really have been that hard to just have a simple beach shoot? But I really like the way she addressed it, very mature and not trying to make excuses for her actions.

Wow, so many people giving Kendall heat for something harmless as a beach photoshoot.. Is this world really that judgmental of people? I think K looks fantastic & I commend her for responding to all the heat she got for this (which is absurd in itself). She’s a model, she’s young, she’s beautiful… Deal with it people! Just as I love Kim & Kourtney, looks like both Kendall & Kylie will be making waves soon as well, garnering a following like that of their 2 older sisters. Glad to see Kendall’s going on about her business, doing what she loves, & not caring what others have to say. I commend her highly.
The calling her a **** is really low & immature, you people seriously need to grow up.
The main thing ppl seem to be unaware of is that: MODELS ARE VERY YOUNG! some even live away from their family on their own in Paris and Milan at 13, 14, 15, 16…… Just because many of the supermodels are older now (Klum, Campbell, etc….) please remember that they started VERY YOUNG…….young teens
ignorance is so annoying. and ppl spewing garbage/trash talk onto a minor is even worse = a D shame.
