The 18-year-old twins played both PokÃ©mon HeartGold Version and PokÃ©mon SoulSilver Version on their Nintendo DSs, battled against each other and race to see who can rack up the most steps using the PokÃ©walker accessory, which a small pedometer-like device that lets players bring their favorite PokÃ©mon with them wherever they go.
By walking, players earn Watts, which are used within the PokÃ©walker to encounter and catch wild PokÃ©mon or search for hidden items that can then be transferred into the PokÃ©mon HeartGold Version and PokÃ©mon SoulSilver Version games.
Cole shared of the game, “I think I like PokÃ©mon HeartGold and PokÃ©mon SoulSilver because we played the original PokÃ©mon Gold and PokÃ©mon Silver, so to play these games again is really nostalgic.”
The twins also told JJJ about their favorite features of the game. “The shiny leaf idea and the ability to have your Pokemon follow you,” they shared.
The commercial they filmed will begin airing on Monday, August 16 on Cartoon Network, Disney XD, Nickelodeon and Nicktoons.
