Ashley Tisdale & Matt Barr: Lunch Date!

Hellcats costars Ashley Tisdale and Matt Barr wait for their lunch as they film a date scene for their upcoming CW series in Vancouver on Friday afternoon (August 13).

The duo were also seen earlier in the month filming a late night scene with costars Aly Michalka, Jeremy Wong and Robbie Jones.

Ashley told Zap2It about the relationship between Savannah and Dan, “She’s used to dates being set up by the church, so she hasn’t had much of an experience with romance. She and [Dan] start to go out, and it creates a whole new triangle in the show. She’s complicated. In some scenes, I want to really go there with emotions and get emotional, but she’s really closed off, so I have to stop myself. It’s hard to keep everything inside, but she’s that character. She’s not open to everybody. She doesn’t let anyone in.”

Hellcats premieres Wednesday, September 8th @ 9PM ET/PT on the CW.
