David Henrie: How I Met Chelsea Staub

David Henrie swipes his hand through his hair as he jumps in a car after a night out with friends at Boudoir nightclub in West Hollywood on Saturday night (August 14).

The 21-year-old actor, who was joined by Carlson Young, chatted with JJJ recently and found out that he and Chelsea Staub knew each other way before she guest starred on Wizards of Waverly Place.

David shared, “That was something called Arizona Summer, Joey Travolta directed it. I was John‘s brother and my little brother was the star of it. They were looking for a bad guy character and they had known my resume and that I have been working for a long time before that. They asked me to come do it. I went in there and played the bad guy and that’s how I met Chelsea and she was a camper, I think, at Arizona Summer Camp.”

Chelsea dished to us too, saying, “He’s going to kill me for this too. I actually have a picture of us from that. Because I was so tall, they actually made me a counselor and the picture is of me leaning on top of him where my hands are actually on his head (laughs).
