OlderMiley Cyrus as Sandy in Grease?
Miley Cyrus is all smiles as she heads through JFK airport in NYC on Monday afternoon (August 30).
According to UK’s The Sun (via BroadwayWorld), good friend Justin Bieber is eyeing a remake of Grease with the 17-year-old actress.
Justin shared with the paper, “It would be a lot of fun. It’s been talked about a lot over the years but it would be awesome to play Danny. I would go for Miley Cyrus without hesitation [for Sandy]. She can sing, dance and act…I’d want some great people to star in it. Wouldn’t Susan Boyle make an amazing Principal McGee? We’d just need to write it into the script that she broke into song.”

absolutely not. i love grease. it is my favorite movie ever and i would be upset if anyone remade it, but especially if the remake starred miley cyrus and justin beiber. i don’t like either of them particularly, but more than that, i don’t think either one of them would do the part justice. danny is supposed to be the super cool bad boy, and justin beiber is like a little girl. sandy is supposed to be good, miley cyrus is not.

Hollywood really needs to start coming up with new ideas rather than re-making the same movie over and over and over and over. It’s boring. And the re-makes usually aren’t very good.
Miley won’t be able to pull off the good girl image.. and her voice will just ruin all the songs.. if people plan to relive Grease at least have the right people to play the characters. But in my opinion no one can top the original.

No! Worst idea ever! I like Justin, I do, but until he grows up and looks his age, or at least older, that would be the worse thing ever. Him being Danny would suck, but of course it would sell out because of so many of his fangirls. Miley Cyrus cannot play Sandy either. I will admit, she can sing, but she is mediocre and could not play Sandy well. If anyone, she would have to be Rizzo.
Hollywood needs to stop remaking good movies and start making good new movies. If they are going to remake Grease, they should do it right and Justin and Miley are not the way to go.
