Taylor Lautner To Settle Lawsuit with Push Ups?

You read right — Taylor Lautner just might be attempting to settle a lawsuit with a push-up competition!

Brent McMahon, who owns McMahon’s RV in Irvine, Calif., offered to compete in a push-up contest to settle the breach of contract lawsuit that the 18-year-old filed last week claiming the dealership failed to deliver a $300,000 RV on time for use as a dressing room on the set of the actor’s latest film. McMahon and his attorney denied wrongdoing and said they will vigorously defend the case in court if Taylor doesn’t accept the challenge.

In a statement from Taylor‘s attorney Robert Barta, said the challenge was indicative of problems with the dealership: “McMahon RV’s response to our client’s legitimate claim further demonstrates the lack of professionalism that Mr. McMahon, his company and his employees have exhibited from the outset, and that compelled the filing of this lawsuit in the first place.”

Barta‘s statement also said the matter might be settled if McMahon made a $40,000 donation to a charity of Taylor‘s choosing.

Apparently, Taylor‘s trailer was delivered late and also needed additional work after it was delivered. The vehicle wasn’t in a safe, drivable condition when it was handed over.

WHAT DO YOU THINK of the challenge issued?

hahahahaha by far this is the most hilarius thing I have read when it comes to solve something outside a court… hahaha like… really??? You think you can actually beat Taylor Lautner in a push ups contest?? hahaha what you think that just because you have the last name McMahon you are like Vince McMahon??? hahaha well… bad news, you will lose your money and respect…

  • Sue

Wow! This RV owner is a real professional.
No wonder a lawsuit was filed against the company.
Funny that everyone is jumping on Taylor but no one question this guy.

  • Carlota

What?! He participated in a push up contest. He really did it for the money?! Oh come on!!! That changed everything about how I see Taylor Lautner.

  • Skizzels

No way, he did not yet participate. I would not If I were him. This is some guy who sells RVs who wants to be with him on TV for 40k. This cake eater is looking to make a commercial with a star endorsing his sales lot for minimal price. I hate Twilight, but I hope Taylor says no, this is stupid.

Worst case I hope his management says send up a video of fatboi doing 50 push ups in less than 1 minute, so we know you’re serious. You KNOW he can NOT.

  • What’s up!

@Carlota: He did not do the push up contest. It says the guy CHALLENGED taylor to the contest instead of going to court but lautners attorney isn’t impressed by the lack of responsibility shown at this dealership. They are making a mockery out of the law suit and if they don’t donate money to a charity of taylors choice they will go to court and lose. Courts don’t find things like this funny, as I’m sure Taylor laurtner isn’t laughing either.

  • Booplay

The whole lawsuit thing itself was stupid. Lautner was over reacting like so many other spoiled celebrity brats. People sue over the dumbest things. Just because you find him hot, doesn’t make his lawsuit any less absurd.

  • amy

Whats hilarious is how much of a brat he’s acting like.
Claiming he suffered ‘Emotional distress’ from the delivery of a late trailer makes him sound like such a diva, seriously it’s not the end of the world.

  • Donna

    He is such a diva…

    i think is funny

  • bee

he is giving the money to charity so to me thats not acting like a brat t\

  • Booplay

It doesn’t matter what he does with the money now. He acted like a little brat because things didn’t go his way. Stuff like this happens to normal people all the time and we just deal with it. People would laugh if we tried to sue for emotional distress. It was never about the money, he has plenty. He’s just a big baby who had to make a scene, and now wants to look like some kind of hero with the charity crap. Pretty pathetic.

  • amy

@bee: Yeah i agree that the giving the money charity would be a decent thing to do, but the whole situation in general is just completely pathetic.

@booplay: This is exactly what i meant, you got it spot on!

  • Marika

    @Carlota: no, he refused.

  • Kristen

thinks he’s some big sh*t now, doesn’t he? pathetic.
it was unprofessional of the company to challenge him, but it was the attittude of a little spoiled boy that started the whole situation.
