Michelle Obama Finds the Magic of Healthy Living

Nick Jonas high-fives First Lady Michelle Obama in this new shot from Disney’s newest initiative, The Magic of Healthy Living.

The new initiative is designed to partner with parents in their quest to raise healthy, happy kids. The initiative, which includes public service announcements featuring First Lady Obama and young Disney stars.

“I am thrilled to join Disney’s Magic of Healthy Living effort and support the work these young
people are doing to reach out to their peers and communicate this powerful message,” said First
Lady Michelle Obama. “Earlier this year, I launched Let’s Move! with the goal of reducing childhood obesity rates in a generation, and through this Disney program, we are able to carry that goal directly to kids – the key stakeholders in this effort. I hope through programs like the Magic of Healthy Living, young people are inspired to take control of their own health, fitness and nutrition and engage their families, schools and communities to do the same.”

I can’t wait until 2012 when America votes out the worst President in history and we never have to hear from him or his wife again.

They are a disgrace to the White House and to America.

I love Jennifer Stone but clearly this is just a P.R. stunt full of a bunch of crap. I am health but because of my weight that makes me a bad person. I am sick of people like the First Lady telling me how to live my life. All I have to say to Disney and the First Lady is but out of my business and go home. This woman eats Chesseburgers and she wants to tell me that my eating habbits are unhealthy. What a hypocrite. This is brainwashing 101. I am starting to loose respect for any Disney actor or actress. Shame on Jennifer Stone and the others for taking part in this propaganda.

God, as there are ignorant and uninformed people in the world! People are tired of hearing that obesity is a health and criticize when someone tries to help. If marketing does not matter. What matters is that they are concerned somehow! But to succeed, society must support it too! So good to see that there are people concerned about the health of young people. This group is often forgotten

I expect the disrespect on JJ not on JJJ. Mrs. Obama is not talking about how to harm yourself. She is just promoting healthy eating. Even if she wasn’t in the White House it would still be a good message for young kids to hear.

This is Awesome! I love the new drive for a healthy america. Michelle has chosen an very important cause. As someone who is within a family of doctors i must say that childhood obesity is a silent killer among us. We need all the help we can get to end the reign of salt, fat, sugar, and over processed foods in our lives. I am super exited about this program.
