Jake T. Austin shows off his shorter hair as he arrives at the 2010 Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party held at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles on Friday night (October 1).

You’ll be hearing the 15-year-old actor’s voice in the upcoming Rio, opposite Jesse Eisenberg and Anne Hathaway.

Jake stars as Fernando in the animated feature which follows Blu, a rare macaw who thinks he is the last of his kind. When Blu discovers there’s another — and that she’s a she — he leaves the comforts of his cage in small town Minnesota and heads to Rio de Janeiro.

Rio is set to premiere early next year.
