Selena Gomez & Others Support Breast Cancer Awareness

Did you know that October is Breast Cancer Awareness month?

Selena Gomez, Emmy Rossum, Katharine McPhee and Emmanuelle Chriqui do and have been supporting the fight against the disease through their jewelry.

Loft has teamed up with three well-known designers — Anna Sheffield, Kara Ross, and Robin Renzi (of Me&Ro) — to create a limited-edition jewelry collection to offer supporters a chic alternative to the traditional pink pin.

Loft will donate five dollars from each item sold directly to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Want to support? Log onto

Another way to support Breast Cancer Awareness? Beauty For Real will donate 10% of proceeds from their Light Heart Illuminating Lip Gloss to Jackson Memorial Foundation’s Jackson Cancer Care for the Taylor Breast Health Center at Jackson.

My mom is a breast cancer survivor and this brings me lots of haplessness that everyone is helping out with this and supporting it because it is a really great cause. I am very proud to have a mom that’s a survivor and when i heard she had it, i thought she was going to die but i believed in her and she believed in herself and we got through it. We go on the walk to support it every year and it’s this Sunday which i’m really excited about and my friend is coming with me as well! I hope other people join the walk as well.

Glad Selena’s supporting a clean real non-politicized cause. Hate her support of Unicef which ignores subsidiarity!

I’m really happy for your mom, you, and the rest of the family. May God always Bless her and every Breast Cancer survivor.

Prognosis and survival rates for breast cancer vary greatly depending on the cancer type, stage, treatment, and geographical location of the patient. Survival rates in the Western world are high; for example, more than 8 out of 10 women (84%) in England diagnosed with breast cancer survive for at least 5 years..-”.
