Jordin Sparks shows off the bottle and packaging of her new scent, Because of You, as she promotes it on EXTRA in NYC’s Bryant Park on Wednesday morning (October 6).

The 20-year-old Broadway beauty caught up with both AOL and WWD at the event to dish out the dedication hidden in her fragrance, tattoos and her go-to fall items. Check it:

On the hidden dedication inside her new scents: “Orange is my favorite color to wear and perform in, and is also the color I used to bring awareness to skin cancer, which a very close friend died of. It’s the main note in my fragrance, in honor of Wendy.”

On her main fall fashion: “I just got the most comfortable pink cardigan from Old Navy last week, and found this great orange scarf. Scarves are my go-to item once the weather gets cool.”

On her many tattoos: “When I turned 18, my mom, my nana and I all went and had tattoos of our favorite Bible verses put on the inside of our wrists. Mine is 1st Timothy, 4:12, [She would love to get more, but] I’m running out of places to hide them.”
