Selena Gomez looks effortless in these new shots from UK’s Cosmopolitan mag.
The 18-year-old actress/singer opened up about obsessions (Cheryl Cole), must-haves and BFFs (Taylor Swift). Check it:
On her makeup must haves: “I normally have moisturiser with me at all times, because my skin gets really dry and that’s just my skin type. And Carmex for my lips because they get dry.”
On her obsession with Cheryl Cole: “She’s a big influence on me…I picked up her CD and they gave me Girls Aloud things and a DVD of her, and her music got me through my whole movie. She made me feel better, I just love her music and I think she’s a really nice person. She’s been through a lot, but she carries herself with a lot of class and I love that.”
On her first awful kiss: “When I was about 7, I was playing a crayon in a play. This boy backstage really liked me, had a big crush on me and I didn’t like him. He was like ‘No I like you! I like you!’ and he kissed me and I pushed him onto the stage. I was so mad and I ran off and I’m this crayon and I’m like storming off! It was awful but it was really cute (laughs).”
On her friendship with Taylor: “We sort of compliment each other so I feel like we kind of have the same mentality about this industry and we just support each other and throughout everything we go through, we know that we both understand. We’re both going through a lot of the same things, so we’re always there for each other.”

I dont think friends should date the same guy when there r so many guys in the world. Thats not the type of friendship I would want its just not right no matter what even if you ask the friend if its cool you shouldnt have to have that conversation with a real friend.
Wow, crazy how she traded Demi for Taylor as being her bff. Wonder what Demi feels when she reads and listens to all these things about Selena and Taylor being bffs and thinking to herself, “that used to be me, Selena & Demi”. I’d be pissed off if I were her…

I second that. Selena only started to hang out with Taylor because Demi was hanging out with Miley. The 3 of them tried to hang out once, but all of Demi’s attention was on Miley, you could see it in the pictures where Demi was grabbing Miley’s arm and Selena was 4 feet away in the background. So Selena moved on and found a better best friend, what’s wrong with that? Selena only talks about Taylor when asked about her, Demi always name drops Miley in her interviews, even if she isn’t brought up. Either way, their personal friendships shouldn’t matter to us, as long as they are happy with the situation, we should be happy for them.
Selena Gomez is so cute and totally goregous in Red (My favorite color), Pink because she’s so sweet and Yellow because she shines like the hot summer sun.
Oh be quiet bria. Why would demi just randomly name miley unless they were asking about her? She only says something about miley if asked, get it right.
And demi does not suck up to miley. She’s her best friend, get over it. It’s not called sucking up.
