Congrats, Skyler Samuels!

The 16-year-old former The Gates and Wizards of Waverly Place actress has landed the lead role in Alloy Entertainment’s Nine Lives!

Deadline reports the project, “centers on Chloe King (Samuels), a teenager with heightened abilities (super speed, agility, hearing…claws) who discovers she’s being pursued by a mysterious figure.”

Skyler shared with JJJ at the 2010 Power of Youth event about the project, “It’s something that I’ve never done before and I hope people are going to like it. It’s a fresh, new idea that’s exciting…I can’t say that it’s ever been done yet.”
