Abigail Breslin just might be joining Lea Michele in Garry Marshall‘s New Year’s Eve.

The 14-year-old actress, who will next be seen in Janie Jones, is still in talks for the film, according to Variety.

The flick will be set in New York and follow intertwining stories of characters trying to navigate their way through romance on New Year’s Eve. The movie is set to release on December 9, 2011.
