Keke Palmer Makes 'Joyful Noise'
Keke Palmer has landed a lead role in the upcoming Joyful Noise!
THR reports that the flick follows two women who join forces to prevent a small-town gospel choir from shutting down.
Keke, 17, will join Queen Latifah and Dolly Parton in the flick that was written by Bandslam‘s Todd Graff.
Queen will play the mother of two teens who is put in charge of the Pacashau Gospel Choir after the death of its choir director, while Dolly will appear as the choir director’s widow who hopes to take over her late husband’s job.
Production for the flick will start in January 2011 in Atlanta.
