Starring Meaghan Martin, Jennifer Stone, Nicole Anderson and Maiara Walsh, the new tale follows new high school student, Jo, who agrees to befriend an outcast, Abby, at the urging of Abby’s wealthy father in exchange for paying all of Jo’s costs for the college of her dreams.
Jo and Abby team up to take on the school’s “mean girls,†the Plastics. The story becomes a high stakes battle of loyalty that ultimately comes to a head when one of our heroines finds out that her friendship has been bought and paid for.
The straight-to-DVD flick will hit shelves in February 2011.

True, but I thought this was going to be a remake in disguise, and it wasn’t. So maybe this’ll be worth something after all.

This is absolutely embarrassing to even think someone could re-make, or worse a sequel to a classic. The acting is horrible and these girls look like are 12. Why couldn’t they just leave Mean Girls the way it was, Tina Fay better be getting paid a hell of a lot to allow this disaster.

The First one was a classic but i’m even not gonna watch this one… It’s a shame that they used just some crappy D-list Disney stars :(
Having mostly Disney stars in this movie show that this won’t have a lot of inappropriate quotes or actions like in the first movie which is disappointing :/

I have yet to hear one good thing about this movie.
At first when I heard they were remaking it with disney stars, I was excited. This could be a fun chance for them to do something not so disney friendly. But no. They film this kind of crap. Really dissapointing, seeing that the stars have potential.

This looks terrible… Definitely cannot even compare to the first one… Since it’s full of Disney girls, just the trailer itself gives off a Disney vibe… Will not be watching this.
The first 20 seconds of the preview were of the real Mean Girls; this movie is obviously riding on the coattails that fame and popularity….why can’t they just call it something else and send it straight to DVD? Problem solved.
