Congrats to Christian Academy in Louisville, Kentucky — the winners of the The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader/OPERATION NARNIA “Hometown Premiere Challenge!”
The school was announced as the winner by Twentieth Century Fox, Walden Media and star Georgie Henley earlier this morning.
Randy Riddle, Domestic Director of Operation Christmas Child shared, “Congratulations to Christian Academy of Louisville. We want to thank you for helping us give Christmas to needy children around the world. We are on track to exceed the previous year’s shoe box gift donations from the U.S. and are excited to have partnered this year with 20th Century Fox and Walden Media.”
Christian Academy created the most shoebox-sized gift boxes for needy children worldwide. The students will host a special premiere event and screening of the film, which will be attended by two of the filmâ€™s stars â€“ Georgie and Skandar Keynes. The event will take place THIS Thursday, December 9th at The Regal Hamburg Pavilion 16 cinemas in Lexington.
