OlderEmma Stone Reacts to Golden Globe Nomination
Emma Stone isn’t believing that she was nominated for a 2011 Golden Globe alongside Angelina Jolie.
The 22-year-old actress told People, “Let’s just be honest, that’s pretty surreal. I don’t know what I’m going to do when I see her in person. I’m going to freak out when I see anybody in person.”
But the best part of hearing of her nomination? “It’s insane! I’m still coming to realization that I got nominated. I’m in the state of ‘Oh, My God!’ My mom and dad called and they were on speakerphone and said, ‘We’re proud of you,’ and that was the best. I teared up,” Emma shared.

I love that for her the most important thing is always what her parents think, she has a very strong connection with them, that’s really a key to stay grounded in that business. So happy for her!
You’re absolutely right Brenda! like she knows who she is, and what she believes in and values plus, she seems to be a girl who Does NOT change who she is to fit in with other people I mean a very down-to-earth girl! and for that I admire her a lot! :)
