Saoirse Ronan Eyes Jack Black and Drew Barrymore Collaborations

Saoirse Ronan keeps warm in a lovely scarf as she arrives at RTE Studios to tape her appearance on The Late Late Show in Dublin, Ireland on Friday night (December 17).

The 16-year-old actress recently shared the cover of Dublin’s Tatler magazine with famous Irish actresses Maureen O’Hara and Alison Doody. [JJJ Note: Thanks Access Saoirse!]

Saoirse shared in the issue about who’d she like to work with and branching outside of just acting, “I’d love to work with Jack Black, he’d be great fun to hang out with. I would love to with Drew Barrymore [too]. She is a good actress but she is also producing her own films, she’s writing, she’s directing and she loves what she does and is very serious about it, that’s the type of woman I would like to be working with. She is very in control.”

She added, “Acting takes a lot but to be completely creatively involved, as a director and a writer, has got to be one of the most fulfilling things to do.”
