OlderRupert Grint: Harry Potter Nominated for an Oscar!
Rupert Grint suits up sharp as he attends the 2011 South Bank Sky Arts Awards held at The Dorchester in London on Tuesday evening (January 25).
The 22-year-old actor was on hand to present director Gareth Edwards with the award for Best Film for Monsters.
Did you hear the exciting Harry Potter news? Deathly Hallows Part I was nominated for not one, but TWO Oscars!
The film is up for Achievement in Art Direction and Visual Effects. Congrats to the cast and crew!

They Deserved to Win
I think in 2013 when Matt Smith is suppose to be stepping down as Doctor Who, they should really consider Rupert as Doctor number 12. The Doctor has always wanted to be a ginger and I think Rupert could play a good Doctor. He also has a built in fan base, many of which might not have heard of Doctor Who yet.

Of course they were nominated, and they will probably win too. The best part is that Eclipse was nominated for 9 Razzies, while Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows was nominated for 2 Academy Awards. twilight SUCKS!!!!!

Although I agree that the doctor should be a ginger at some point and I adore Rupert, I really don’t think he should play the doctor. There was so much controversy surrounding Matt as the eleventh doctor because people thought he was too young, that it makes me think that Rupert would really be too young. Sorry. :(
wtf, that movie was so bad though.
i mean i liked it since i’m an HP fan, and i guess some of the effects were cool, but the movie as a whole was just bad. it just jumped right into the thick of things, and there was no real climax or falling action. it literally felt like what it was…half a movie.
it doesn’t deserve any oscars imo

Harry potter is very nice movie. I like Rupert Grint and Emma Watson. Please quickly publish the harry potter 7 part 2. It is the best english movie I thought. Thanks for everybody.
