OlderAlex Pettyfer: Lily Collins is a 'Great' Clary
Alex Pettyfer is a hot commodity these days — and is heating up the casting rumors surrounding The Mortal Instruments series.
The 20-year-old British actor shared with MTV, “I read the books, I think they are phenomenal. Screen Gems are making it so I don’t know. I just got to figure out what I got to do next…I just got to figure out what I go to do. But I’m a big fan of the books and I think it’s cool.”
So what does he think about his possible leading lady Lily Collins? “I have read the screenplay. I think it is very faithful and I think Lily Collins is a great pick for the role [of Clary].”

it was announced on nymag online that it’s pretty much certain that he’ll “mortal instruments” to star in another movie based on a young adult series. he’s going to be in “the last apprentice” also known in europe as “the wardstone chronicles.”

It would make me so happy to see him star as the sarcastic Jace of TMI. He was my pick even before the gossip of a movie. Alex is a great actor, and I’m thrilled that he is getting more roles these days. Cross your fingers for him…
