Daniel Radcliffe who plays the eponymous hero remarked, “I am thrilled that the Harry Potter film series is being honoured with this Award. I have loved every minute of making these films and to me the real heroes are the crew and the huge team of craftsmen that have made all eight of them possible – this Award is a testament to their incredible work.”

Emma Watson added, “This is a huge honour! I am so proud to have been part of the incredible team both in front and behind the camera that made these films. Congratulations to J.K and all the cast and crew that made the movies possible. They definitely have made an outstanding contribution to both cinema and literacy with the films and books. Harry Potter will always be cherished.

Harry Potter sucks. They’re only getting this because it made a lot of money.

  • hahhys

@anonym so if it sucked why did it make money? that makes no sense…
if you can say that about harry potter you can say that about the twilight franchise which to be perfectly honest ‘sucks’ …
just proves that harry potter fans can live with other popular movies because they know how good hp is whereas twilight fans have to pick on other movies which are challenging it because they know how crap it is …
    #justsaying ..
