Miranda Cosgrove Teases 'Dancing Crazy' Music Video on Today Show

Miranda Cosgrove holds onto her camera bag and a San Pellegrino water as she leaves her hotel on Tuesday afternoon (February 8).

The 17-year-old actress/singer stopped by The Today Show on Wednesday (February 9) to debut a bit of her “Dancing Crazy” music video. Looks so great!

Miranda also chatted a bit about her EP, “The song ‘High Maintenance’ on the EP. It’s very tongue-in-cheek about a girl who is high maintenance and the guy who has to put up with it.”

Don’t worry guys, Miranda‘s not high maintenance herself.

I love Miranda Cosgrove. Even though I am old enough to be her cab driver, if, you know, she were to ever take a cab in a city without overly restrictive regulations on, you know, the age of cab drivers. Really.

My wife, and friend, Miranda, loved the “Dancing Crazy” video. Once again, Miranda Cosgrove, in the vision she brings to her interpretation of the song, displays how brilliant , and thoughtful, she is about the world and her place in it.

The reference to Sally Fields, in the beginning of the video, and the other reference to Birmingham High School, at the end, appear to me, Ron, to frame a beautiful vision of the world we inhabit, although many of us seem unaware that we do.

The most interesting aspect of the video is that it is not political. Even though, in large sections of this country, you will find schools segregated, and no place for young people, or old people, of different backgrounds, to see, and like, one another.

In Arizona, where Miranda is playing tonight, people, on all sides, do not seem to be able to get beyond questions of who is wrong, and who is right. Politics, in a world where people do not even like one another, appears to have no future. “Dancing Crazy,” on the other hand, is sustainable. And, you do not have to believe me. Just dance it out for yourself.

    Joy to you, Rose.
