OlderHailee Steinfeld - Oscars 2011 Red Carpet
Hailee Steinfeld is pretty in pink as she arrives at the 2011 Oscars held at the Kodak Theater on Sunday (February 27) in Los Angeles.
The 14-year-old actress wore a lovely crystal hand embroidered tulle tea length dress in a pale ballet pink from Marchesa which she helped design. “I hope I get to keep it,” she shared with press on the carpet.
Hailee completed her stunning look with vintage Fred Leighton jewels and a clutch and shoes by Ferragamo.
Hailee is nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Mattie Ross in True Grit.

Correction she is of filipino descent not half filipino. Her maternal grandfather was half filipino half african american. That makes her mother a quarter filipino. That makes Hailee 12% filipino.

wrong dude, her mother is half filipino coz her maternal grandfather is filipino. hailee’s rep denied her mother is half african american, and she has never acknowledged any african american ancestry like she did with her filipino side. hailee is 1/4 filipino, her mother is 1/2.
