OlderVanessa Hudgens: 'Beastly' Opens TODAY!!!
Vanessa Hudgens, like her character Lindy, knows the true meaning of beauty.
The 22-year-old actress opened up to USA Today about her new flick, keeping her head on straight and chopping her hair. Check it:
On remaining grounded: “”I had my family to keep me grounded. I’m so close to my mom and dad. Their world doesn’t revolve around Hollywood. I also had friends to grow with, like Ashley [Tisdale] and Zac [Efron]. We all went on this journey together and had each other to fall back on. You’ve got to have your friends to keep your head on straight.”
On her vision of beauty in Hollywood: “”It used to always be about the big blond hair and the big blue eyes. There’s nothing wrong with that, but the idea of the classic beauty is changing. I’m blessed to have so many different ethnicities. I’m a chameleon, and that’s given me great opportunities.”
On moving past her former Disney image: “I cut off about a foot of my hair, so it’s harder now. With two movies coming out this month, I want to give people the opportunity to truly see me differently. Now I have a new sense of confidence. I don’t have a mane to hide behind..”
On the message of Beastly: “I’m a big fan of the Disney animated movie. I wanted to be Belle. What girl wouldn’t want to be a princess and find a guy who she can call her own and who transforms into a handsome prince? And I really like the message: ‘Never judge a book by its cover. Looks aren’t everything.’ They may seem like everything, especially in high school, but it’s amazing how it’s so not that.”

BTW went to see Beastly it was better than good it was AWESOME! Loved it. took a lot of people with me and each person loved it all ages were there packed to the gills with people. I laughed, and I said awww! It was truly touching this movie is the next great step for Vanessa Hudgens to a bright future. It is worth every penny see it more then once it is that good. Well, I’ve seen a few reviews for Beastly. They are not good. The consensus is that Alex simply cannot act at all. They were a bit nicer to Nessa, but not much. One review even said that they wished Zac had played the part because at least he actually can act.
oh i love her and i think she is a great person and i am happy for her because it’s her day and she can have all of her friends around like Ashley and Zac..i am personally not sure if Zanessa break up or no
She seems soo happy now , and she has been soo busy lately but her personality is always still glowing , she stays true to who she is , and she is really passionate about her career ! I heard beastly was AMAZING from alot of people on Twitter and I CANNOT WAIT to see it tomorrow with my friends I kno it will Be Great !!!!! God Bless , Vanessa ♥
I love the movie, Vanessa, Kyle and Neil patrick harris, Ashley, were great, I took my grandchidren, they loved it too. there was people of all knds ages. it was full. DEB, THERE WERE ALOT OF GOOD REVIEWS, PLUS THE FROM THE ORANDO HERALD WHICH DOESN’T LIKE MUNCH, AND HE GAVE IT THREE STARS AND HE SAID THIS WAS THE BEST MOVIE HE SEEN SO FAR, THERE WAS ALOT MORE, IT WAS FUNNY,AND CUTER, AND VANESSA WAS BEAUTIFUL, SHE HAS SUCH A EXPRESSIVE FACE, AND HER AND KYLE HAD GOOD CHEMENARY.THE SCENARY IS BEAUTIFUL, ZAC SAID VANESSA IS FUN TO WATCH.
