Vanessa Hudgens and Modern Family‘s Sarah Hyland try to avoid the cameras as they head back to their car on Thursday night in Studio City, Calif.

The twosome made a stop at The Nail Garden, delving into a bit of girl time before indulging in some coffee from Starbucks.

JJJ Fun Fact: Sarah and Vanessa, 22, met during the HSM3 auditions! Sarah auditioned for the role of Tiara Gold, which was won by Jemma McKenzie-Brown. She also met boyfriend Matt Prokop there too.
