We’re ‘On It’ with MDot Finley!
The 23-year-old musician personally invited JJJ to his first ever music video shoot in downtown Los Angeles earlier this month and we’re finally sharing all of our footage.
We’ll be unveiling new clips every week throughout the month and can’t wait for you to hear the whole track, see the full music video and hear what MDot told us.
Check out our first video below and click inside for a little Q&A session!
JJJ Note: Apologies for the delay everyone! We had some technical difficulties.
JJJ Exclusive: On The Set of “I’m On It” with MDot Finley, Video #1
JJJ: This is your first music video outside of Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam
MDot Finley: It is and somehow I’m doing it all — the producing and directing the video. I’m also doing the choreography and some shot design with my co-director. The concept was all me and I just bought a Ducati.
My friends from Ducati actually brought me some additional bikes out so we’re going to do some outside shots of riding too. It was something that I just caught onto while I was out on the road [touring]. I wanted to buy a bike and feature that. The whole song is about me trying to find my way without losing my identity.
JJJ: From catching what was filmed in the vaults of the old Security Bank, there’s definitely a certain kind of attitude the video carries.
MDot: There is. It’s definitely motorcycles, swag, leather, grungy, futuristic. I wasn’t really planning on a whole Tron inspired theme, but now that I do see it, I’m happy with it. There’s helmets and…I had envisioned it looking cool, of course, but not like this. I wanted it to be something that no one has ever seen.
Remember, there’s more! Check back next week!
