OlderDavid Archuleta: Spirit of America Blimp Ride!
David Archuleta “holds” up the Goodyear Blimp just before a ride on the Spirit of America late last week in California.
When Goodyear heard of the 20-year-old musician’s wish to get a ride on the blimp, they made it happen! The official Facebook posted, “Pilot-in-Charge Jon Conrad flew them along the scenic route up the California Coast along the Palos Verdes peninsula, and for over an hour he was rewarded with a private performance from David and his friends as they sang a medley of hit songs a cappella. A highlight of the once-in-a-lifetime flight for David was watching a pod of dolphins playing and chasing the SOA’s shadow on the water as it passed overhead.”
David tweeted, “Just got to do one of the coolest things I’ve always wanted to do!! Got to go on a blimp ride!!”

not all his friends, just two, two people are the left are his two cousins and the woman with them a blonde is a songwriter and on the right side with david is lady V is also a another songwriter and the blonde young girl is his new girlfriend, what i have been hearing, i think it is so cool that he get to ride a goodyear blimp.

Thanks to Good Year that they made David’s wish came true. I’m so happy for him. Thanks to the Pilot also. Who ever got a ride with David on the Blimp are lucky. I wish I could get a ride on a Blimp. Because I’m one of David’s loyal fans……from now on I’ll buy my tires from “Good Year” and only from “Good Year”.
yeah, i would, its not very dangerous or really scary to tell you the truth, eventhough i’ve never been on a blimp ride, but i do assume its not scarier then an airplane ride or a ballon ride.
i am also so glad david is enjoying himself. i would love to go on a blimp ride too, i bet its really fun and uplifting and freeing.
