Robert Pattinson Has Puppy Love...with Bear!
Robert Pattinson is a definite animal lover!
From his leading lady Rosie in Water for Elephants to his new puppy, Bear, he loves animals.
Rob, 24, shared about naming his new adopted pup with MTV
, “When he came from the shelter, his name was Yogi Bear and I thought it was a bit much (laughs). So I went with Bear…it was either Forrest or Bear. Bear got it.”
Check out a few behind-the-scenes pics from Water For Elephants below!

he’s handsome. ;)
Rob loves animals and they look him right back. I love the look on the dogs face. I love men who are kind to animals and small children.
Rob is very handsome, romantic & a good human being, he ‘ve a beautiful soul:)
LOL…the dog in the picture is not Bear. That is the professional dog used in the movie, Water for Elephants. That dog has an owner. Bear is a dog he just got recently from a shelter in Baton Rouge before leaving after finishing Breaking Dawn there.
I used to have a little dog named “Bear” — cute. In another website, Robert Pattinson is quoted as saying that he is glad that the Twilight Saga is over. Lots of negative replies to that BUT consider that this filming went on for years and that his life was beseiged by the media. The young man is very good-looking and a good actor. I was one of the first to see the resemblance to Marlon Brando and that took off for awhile. I would not still compare him to Marlon except in looks — he has his own persona; however, even when we grow disenchanted with Pattinson for his comments, there appears to be a reason he makes them. AND, he makes an EXCELLENT Edward — he made the movie. He also continues to make good movies. He was almost an overnight success and is certainly going to remain so — how many of us could ever hope to come close to that? I also continue to find it very appealing that he remains persistent in denying any right to become snooty, snobby, etc. He is just Rob. With a new little baby puppy. Good luck to the young man. And, as a dog owner (two brats who I love dearly) and their sister cat, going strong at 10 years old, I know he will find lots of happiness with his new best friend and baby.
Robert you are the best!
