I see Disney has another mediocre singer and actress signed to Hollywood.

  • joan

She is a Great Singer but i Don’t Like Hollywood Record As a Record I think she should sign with Warner Bros Record is Million times better but i wish her the best things

  • Girl

I adore Bridgit Mendler to pieces and her beautiful voice, but why Hollywood Records? Why?

I’m so against young artists signing to a disney label after Miley & Jonas & Demi . . . then Selena HAD to be signed to. It’s like a package Disney invents. She has a show, next an album . . . her singing career is predictable.

  • Allison

@Girl : Hollywood Records is pretty much Disney. The run together. So, if you work for Disney, and you want to sing, you get signed with Hollywood whether you like it or not.

You’re right by saying Hollywood Records is terrible, which is the reason that Vanessa Hudgens dropped them. She didn’t sell many albums because she didn’t get any promotion. I literally didn’t even know she had a new album out until a year after it was out.
I think they learned after they lost her, because they did big promoting on Ashley’s last album and then HUGE HUGE HUGE promoting on Demi and Selena.
So, I guess they’re getting better..

But, the point is, if you work for Disney and you sing also, you’re with Hollywood Records because it’s all associated with each other.

@Allison: ashley tisdale? she isnt signed to hollywood, she’s signed to warner bros.
anyways, i think bridget has a lovely voice, but i don’t know. just because you have a good voice doesnt mean you have to make an album.

  • kate101

Not ANOTHER one!!!!! I agree with @lexie, just because you’re signed to disney as an actress and have a good voice does NOT mean you should be as a signer too!!!

  • mrsdestinyhope

@kate101: it does mean that if it’s a part of ur contract. Some of u all r being really hard on her. If she wants to make an album, let her.

  • Bardy

You got her twitter wrong, its missing a seven its: bmendler707700. Pretty sure she some fake is laughing now.

  • Kevin

Yawn! Yet another Disney star being handed a music career full of mediocrity. It must be great to have a company hand you material written and produced by someone else yet you get to have a hit out of it. Although Mendler does not have nearly the same appeal as Cyrus or Gomez to launch a successful debut album. I wouldn’t be surprised if it flops.

  • isabelle

here we go again! these disney kids think that HAVE to become singers too. Most of them aren’t even passionate about singing like Demi or Miley who you can tell have always wanted to be artists all their lives. Disney want to make more money.

But anyway good luck to her

  • Bridgit Mendler Online

@isabelle: @Kevin: Well, u just clearly displayed just how little u know about Mss Mendler. Bridgit is ust as passionate with her music as Demi and Miley are. She does write her own material (She wrote ‘This Is My Paradise’ ). Just because ur from Disney doesn’t make un an automatic bad singer. Kelly Blatz, Drew Seeley, Shane Harper are all all Disney stars and they all can sing EVERY SHAPE IN THE BOOK around Demi and Selena. Give the girl a chance before u sgtar jumping down her throat and getting skeptical with her.

I have to admit, she has a good voice. She can really sing. I don’t know if she’s going to get as much recognition for her music. She’s sort of popular, but I think she’s an ok person, nothing against her. Hollywood Records better give her at least some promotion, because she has a good voice. Also, she’s 18,not 17.
