The upcoming, one-hour drama tells the story of two teenage girls who discover they were accidentally switched as newborns in the hospital.
Bay Kennish (Vanessa Marano) grew up in a wealthy family with two parents and a brother (Lucas Grabeel), while Daphne Vasquez (Katie Leclerc), who lost her hearing at an early age due to a case of meningitis, grew up with a single mother in a poor neighborhood.
Things come to a dramatic head when both families meet and struggle to learn how to live together for the sake of the girls. Constance Marie, D.W. Moffett, and Lea Thompson star as the parents.
Switched at Birth will premiere in June.

OMGGGG !!! THIS IS A RIP-OFF !!!! there use to be this korean program i use to watch called autumn in my heart that has EXACTLY the same story ??? …. and that was like in 2001 ?? but watever, this might not be bad? i need to give it a chance.

I thought she was deaf?! How can she have conversations with that boy? This makes no sense.
@Natty: It’s called lip-reading.
Only 25 to 30% of the English language can be lip-read/speech-read. Their conversation was slightly unrealistic, but it’s TV.
