Cameron Monaghan: Corey Goes To Prom!

Cameron Monaghan hangs out with director Joe Nussbaum at the red carpet premiere of Prom held at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood on Thursday night (April 21).

In the movie, the 17-year-old actor plays Corey (named after the famous Corey’s of the 1980s), Lucas’ (Nolan Sotillo) best friend.

Cameron told JJJ about the “triangle” that develops between Lucas, Corey and Simone. “Corey and Lucas definitely have a bit of a bromance. We’re best friends, talk about everything and we’re really into music and a band called Stick Hippo. This girl comes in and kind of steals Lucas’ attention away and Corey’s left in the dust, almost (laughs). He’s definitely a bit jealous of them, but he’s still supportive. He really wants Lucas to get the girl.”
