Ashley Tisdale, star of the CW’s Hellcats, talks about her surprise stunt on the television show!
The 25-year-old actress dished, “I was hanging out with the cheerleaders, and one of the guys was just…throwing me up in the air…and so, I ended up doing a liberty! He threw me up in the air, caught me by my feet…and then he pushed me up to one foot, and then I put my arms out and that’s called a liberty…they were so excited they got me on film doing it!”

Well actually the thing she is talking about with her arms out to both sides and her leg extended straight back is actually called an arabesque. But that is impressive for someone who doesn’t actually cheer.
And the other thing she did where she was holding her foot by her head is called a scorpion.

Thats actually called an “arabesque”. A “liberty” is when you face the front and hook your foot to your knee & your arms are in a “high v”
