JJJ Book Club: Read The First Chaper of 'Forgotten'

After Hailee Steinfeld signed on to play London Lane in the film adaption of Cat Patrick‘s “Forgotten,” we knew we had to read it…and after we read it, we had to share it with you!

In the novel, which hits shelves in June, each night when 16 year-old London goes to sleep, her memory of that day is erased. In the morning, all London can “remember” are events from her future and the people who will play a part in it.

So, in order to get by, London relies on reminder notes and a trusted friend to navigate relationships and high school life. Not your ideal way to get through your teen years, right? On top of that, London starts dreaming of her past and what really happened to make her forget.

Sound interesting? Good! We’ve got a treat for you — JJJ is giving you the first look and read of “Forgotten.” All you have to do is click inside…

Also, follow Ms. Patrick on Twitter and Facebook for “Forgotten” updates and more!

    I looooooooved this book!

And I didn’ know about the movie adaptation!
How exciting! Can’t wait to see Luke come to life on he big screen, and of course London too, she’s great but Luke is so dreamy!

but wait, London is supposed to be a redhead!

Hopefully they won’t change that in the movie,
but Hailee is an incredible actress (:

  • ClearPerspective

Meh. Needs a better ‘hook’. That can’t be all of chapter one(?)

    Dear JJ,
Will you also read Divergent by Veronica Roth and give us your opinion. summit Entertainment bought the movie rights to this book and it was just published this May 3, 2011. I wish Hailee Steinfeld would also sign in and become Beatrice Prior. This book is even better than Hunger Games!
