Emma Roberts shows off her spring style in a white eyelet dress as she heads to Joan’s on Third for a bite to eat on Thursday afternoon (May 12).

The 20-year-old actress had amazing chemistry with her The Art of Getting By costar Freddie Highmore, according to the film’s director Gavin Wiesen.

Gavin tells People, “Their chemistry was amazing. Emma is this mature, kind of grown-up little woman in a girl’s body, and she’s very sophisticated. And as smart as Freddie is, he feels a little bit more innocent. So, there was this great combination of innocence and experience on the one hand, but they’re actually both whip smart.”

The Art of Getting By opens June 17th.
