OlderDakota Fanning: Surprise, Oprah!
Dakota Fanning looks up from her bright pink covered iPhone as she arrives at LAX airport in Los Angeles on Wednesday (May 18).
The 17-year-old actress was in Chicago to take part in the Surprise Oprah! A Farewell Spectacular held at the United Center.
Dakota, wearing Oscar de la Renta, and a group of teens — called “Oprah Show babies” — kids talking about what the show has taught them — said during the event, “Because of The Oprah Winfrey Show, we believe girls can run the world.”
