Francia Raisa: Gracie Award Winner!

Francia Raisa holds up her awards as she speaks on stage at the 2011 Gracie Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Tuesday evening (May 24) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 22-year-old actress, wearing a gorgeous Tadashi Shoji red gown, received the award for Outstanding Female Rising Star in a Drama Series or Special — so deserved!

Francia, who took her mom to the gala, will be showing off just why she’s getting this award in the upcoming episodes of The Secret Life of the American Teenager.

“I had to step into a world that I would hope would never happen. I mean it was draining. It affected me for a couple of weeks. And I definitely did a lot of preparation for that. It definitely challenged me as an actress. And I thank the writers for trusting me with that material because it is life changing. It’s very intense,” she shared with Wetpaint.

Francia completed her look with Hendrick Brun shoes and INTA jewelry.
