OlderJoey King Joins 'Oz, The Great and Powerful'
Joey King is just raking in the roles!
In addition to landing a role in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises, it was also just announced that the 11-year-old actress will be starring opposite James Franco in Oz, The Great and Powerful.
Variety reports that Joey will play China Girl, a young character made of porcelain whose family has been destroyed by the villainous Evanora (Rachel Weisz).
James, who plays the wizard, takes pity on China Girl and becomes a bit of a surrogate father.
Oz, The Great and Powerful is set to hit theaters on March 8th, 2013.
