JustJaredJr.com was lucky enough to attend the super-exclusive Della launch event in Los Angeles earlier this month and we fell in love with the line!

Hosted by Miss Behave‘s Jillian Clare and Michael Bolten, the event debuted the bags to a new set of eyes.

Della bags and accessories were born from the minds of Tina Tangalakis and Ghana seamstress Beatrice Agabe. All the products are hand-made from fabrics purchased locally in Ghana and made by seamstresses in the village of Hohoe, Ghana.

Many of the women sewing the bags have dreams of becoming businesswomen. They are given an opportunity to earn wages and learn to structure their finances to lay the groundwork to possibly opening their own businesses. Della is not a charity, but an organization dedicated to empowering women through business
