Jackie Evancho gets a high-five from a security guard as she heads to the stage at Yonge-Dundas Square in Toronto on Tuesday morning (May 31).

The 11-year-old singer was there to not only promote the upcoming season of America’s Got Talent, but also to spread the word about her new album, Dream With Me.

Jackie shared recently with NPR about staying a kid as long as she can.

“At this point I try not to think about that, because I think of how horrible my voice could turn into or how great my voice could turn into,” Jackie admits. “I sometimes get scared of growing up because I really love being young, being little. It’s fun. A lot funner than being an adult.”
