Britt Robertson shares a hug with gal pal Aimee Teegarden as she hits the red carpet at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards held at the Gibson Amphitheatre on Sunday (June 5) in Universal City, Calif.

The 21-year-old actress recently chatted with Zap2It about her upcoming CW series, The Secret Circle.

Britt shared, “In the beginning of the show… she has a really great relationship with her mom. They’re super close and she lives a completely normal lifestyle. Pretty quickly into it, you realize that her mom — well, she dies. So she has to go and live with her grandmother and she’s thrown into some new circumstances.”

“It’s such a different show. It’s very supernatural and exciting,” she added.
