Vanessa Marano & Katie Leclerc are GLAD Girls

The cast of Switched At Birth lines up in a neat little row as they arrive at the 2011 GLAD Benefit Extravaganza held at The House of Blues in Los Angeles on Sunday night (June 5)

Vanessa Marano, Katie Leclerc, Lucas Grabeel, Sean Lane Berdy, Lea Thompson and Constance Marie all came to support Marlee Matlin, who was a special guest at the event.

Katie recently opened up to TVGuide about her new ABC Family series, “Sign language is the third most common language in the United States and most people wouldn’t realize that. Having a deaf character coming into your television and coming into your home every week can be a huge help in building bridges for both of those worlds.”
