Looks like JJJ isn’t the only one who likes a good thriller every now and then — Zendaya loves them too!

The 14-year-old actress actually took us on a tour of the book trailer set for “From Bad To Cursed” by Katie Alender.

Zendaya shared about filming the trailer, “I got some chills! There’s some weird things where the darkness gets into the girl, and I visualized it in my head. On my show [Shake It Up], I’m kind of upbeat and cheery all the time, but definitely for this I had to bring out my dark side.”

Author Katie added about working with her, “She’s a complete pro. I was in awe. She just came in and got it immediately! Her performance really makes the trailer for me.”

Katie also dished what the book series is all about, “The ‘Bad Girls Don’t Die’ series is about how having all of these crazy supernatural experiences affects Alexis. At the beginning, she’s kind of a loner–very ‘everygirl’ to me. I love to read books where I can imagine myself in the shoes of the characters, and that’s what I hope to give my readers–the idea of what it would be like if your life suddenly became all about dealing with evil, threatening ghosts!”
