OlderWho's The New Guest Star on 'iCarly'?
Miranda Cosgrove, Jennette McCurdy and Nathan Kress‘s jaws are almost on the ground as soon as they catch sight of the newest guest star on iCarly. So who could it be?!
It’s First Lady Michelle Obama!
Shot on Monday (June 13), the episode will air in January 2012 to promote awareness to Joining Forces, an initiative that supports and honors U.S. military families.
In the episode, Carly’s (Cosgrove) father, an Air Force Colonel, is not able to make it home for his birthday as planned. Mrs. Obama, who hears about Freddie (Kress) and Sam’s (McCurdy) efforts to connect Carly with her dad, then comes to talk to them about the importance of connecting soldiers with their families.
