Julianne Hough cozies up to therapy dog Yazhi as she attends The American Humane Association Hero Dog Awards Voting Kick-Off presented by CESAR Canine Cuisine held at the VA Medical Center – Manhattan on Monday morning (June 20) in New York City.
The 22-year-old actress/singer kicked off the voting for the Hero Dog Awards which celebrates heroic dogs that truly transform lives. For every vote, CESAR Canine Cuisine will make a donation to American Humane Association to help spread the love of therapy dogs to those that need it most.
Julianne told the crowd at the event about her own two pups, Lexi and Harley. She shared that Harley didn’t make the trip with her this time, as she’s “currently potty training and that wasn’t going to work out so well for either of us.”
Julianne also performed some songs, including the very first song she ever sang in public — “How Much is that Doggie in the Window.”
She’s also pictured over the weekend, spending time with her sister, Katherine, and her family in Miami.
