Miranda Cosgrove attends Seventeen Magazine‘s ‘Pretty Amazing’ Luncheon held at the Mondrian Hotel on Saturday (June 25) in New York City.
The 18-year-old singer and actress met up JustJaredJr.com‘s Jared Eng and Seventeen Magazine Editor-in-Chief Ann Shoket at the event.
Late last month, the five finalists for the contest were announced and they were all flown to NYC to have lunch with Miranda, Jared, and Ann, who are the contest’s judges!
The grand prize winner will land the cover of Seventeen‘s October issue and a $10,000 scholarship from Neutrogena.

I, Ron, had a “pretty amazing†luncheon, yesterday, too. Took a nap, afterwards, and woke up in excruciating pain. I, Ron, thought, immediately, “angina.†Well, actually, “heart attack.†It appeared, to me, that I, Ron, was a goner. And, I, Ron, thought, my poor wife, Miranda, whatever will become of her. And, then, as I, Ron, considered what to wear, I, Ron, realized I was not responding, at all, as a person with a normal heart would. Imagine that.
I mean, I was thinking, as I lay on the floor, clutching my chest, about sending a birthday card to Jennette McCurdy, who I, Ron, love. And, also, you know, putting on some clothes. Because I, Ron, do not like to scare people. Especially low paid health care workers.
Eventually, after checking all my symptoms, I, Ron, realized my heart was only burning, and not breaking. And, I, Ron, spent the rest of the day eating olives, as strange as that may seem. And, also, thinking about the ring, my wife, Miranda, wears.
When I, Ron, said I was old enough to be, you know, Miranda Cosgrove’s cab driver, I knew it to be true. Just as I, Ron, knew that when my wife, and I, Ron, married, the rings, and Love, unlike diamonds, are forever.
Perhaps, someday, I, Ron, will meet Jennifer Lawrence, who I, Ron, love, and Miranda Cosgrove, who I, Ron, love. Maybe, in a cab. Maybe, not in a cab. Wherever, I know, there will be no reason to fight. Because, Love is like that.
I loved the pictures, and the stories of each of the winners. They are all so beautiful that, I, Ron, could not choose one over another. They all make me feel very fortunate to be married to my wife, Miranda. In the best possible sense.
Happy Birthday Ariana Grande and Jennette McCurdy. If you see Miranda, let her know The Man, or Pops, is supposed to open the card. Or, Miranda can do it for him. Not important who does, so long as he gets it, late as it may be.
