Francia Raisa: American Cheerleader July Issue On Stands NOW!

Francia Raisa ‘s July 2011 American Cheerleader cover is on stands TODAY and JJJ has some quotes from her interview!

The 22-year-old actress opened up about love, heartbreak and wanting to be swept off her feet. Check it:

On the first time she fell in love: “Oh, you mean the first time I thought I fell in love? Oh, God. Ugh. In high school I thought I was in love with this one guy who broke my heart really bad. I just remember crying a lot, because he didn’t really love me. He told me he did, but he’d never make me his girlfriend but I was always someone he was seeing. And then the next thing I knew, he’d have another girlfriend and I was like, ‘Wait!’ And then I’d have to wait for them to break up…”

“It was very similar. [to Adrian and Ricky's relationship]. He always had me around, but never took it to the next level. He never called me his girlfriend and I never understood why. I’d always sit there like a dummy waiting for him. And then when he’d have trouble with his girlfriend, he’d come to me for advice and I’d try to be the best friend, the bigger person I just saw him recently and I think he was trying to rekindle what we had, but I was like, ‘Nah, dude.’ I was thinking to myself, ‘I was attracted to you?’”

On her advice for girls going through a breakup: “My sister said something really smart to me recently. She follows He’s Just Not That Into You like no one’s business. She said, ‘If he wants to be with you, oh he will be with you. Wouldn’t you rather be a guy’s priority and not an option?’ So, that’s my advice. If he doesn’t want to be with you, you can’t force him.”

On the shock of Ben and Adrian’s relationship: “When [creator] Brenda [Hampton] told me and I was like, ‘Wait, what? Really? Really?’ I was surprised and it took some time getting used to, but I really like where they’re going with the storyline now.”

On being swept off her feet: “Still waiting. My friend went on a date the other day and I was saying, ‘I don’t think a guy’s ever asked me out on a date.’ A guy hasn’t picked me up and made plans to take me out. If I date a guy, we just hang out either at my place or his. But an actual date where I get ready? I’ve never had that.”
